Serving the City of Newport, I've seen the immense challenges kids are facing in and out of the classroom. We all have a stake in their future, which is why I've made supporting public education a cornerstone of my service.
Mentoring has proven to be one of the most effective ways to improve the outcome of kids' lives. It takes a lot of work - and those willing to do it are most effective when they have support.
That's why I'm putting myself out there - on the dance floor - to support the great work of the Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership.
