Throughout my childhood, early adulthood and even into my professional life, I have been been fortunate to have people who have believed in me. Mentorship comes in many forms and I have been blessed to have been given a guiding hand in all of these stages of my life.
Seeing the great work that Mentor Rhode island does, hearing how rewarding being an adult mentor has been to those involved has been nothing short of moving and inspiring. Having an adult mentor that can provide support and guidance through all of the things that life throws your way cannot be measured.
So...when I was approached by Greenwood Credit Union to participate in this year's flagship fundraising event Dancing With the Stars of Mentoring, it was easy YES! Time will tell if I am any good at dancing, but either way, I can't wait to have some fun and raise money for Mentor Rhode Island so they can to continue to the great work they do to support our community!
