Sponsorship: The Howell Evening Tribute

The Howell Evening Tribute will be an opportunity to recognize Beacon Communications Publisher John Howell for his long-time support of the community and raise funds for one of his favorite causes: youth mentoring!
Why: John Howell has been a pillar of this community, working hard to tell the story of its people but also supporting a wide array of causes. John was the founding board chair of the Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership (now known as MENTOR Rhode Island). The organization will bring the community together to celebrate John and all his good works, while supporting the cause of youth mentoring, which John continues to champion. The event will feature a sampling of food from area restaurants with a keen eye toward some of John's favorites. There will also be a chance to mingle and share John stories.
Who: Friends of John, Members of the community whose lives he has impacted through reporting or his philanthropic efforts.
